Hallo liebe Tester,

eine neue Version ist auf dem Server. Diese benötigt die R13 als Grundlage !



Bugfixes:

- ChunkPool-Problem behoben
- Ratte in der Residenz gefixed (gefixt)

Hello dear testers,

a new update is available.

Please install Version R13 und then R14. R14 requires the R13 update and fixes an important bug in R13.

New features :
-------------

- barracks: duplicate names for armies no longer allowed
- init screen: Name is now checked for illegal characters
- map: state of borders was not saved
- local mails are only loaded if filename is correct
- registration completely reworked. Fool proof now?
- under UAE, automatically choose "Always Online"
- GetMail : Lycos Workaround
- InitScreen: old turn from a former game with the same number are now deleted
- trade screen: can now "buy" wood and stone from the micromanagement
- GameInit: At init, every player gets 250 wood/250 stones/1000 tridents & 1000 armor tunics
- map screen: micro management and action menu
- Building screen: texts improved
- Building screen: wood and stone added
- map screen: autumn gfx
- residence: rat show that no turn was received by server
- town: brightness depends on daytime

Bugfixes:

- error 553 is recognized as SMTP-after-POP
- barracks: couldn't handle armies bigger than 65536 men properly. fixed
- pressing esc while merging armies caused a crash
- map screen: coordinates set from 20 to 28 to avoid crash
- map screen: Bug ini CheckPersonEvent fixed
- Eingabebox adapted to new input-routines
- bought good were sometimes not added properly
- barracks: twohanded artillery weapons fixed
- Initscreen: adapted
- building screen: Rect-error fixed

Additional info:

Please make a copy of your game and test initialisation. In the best case, you shouldn't have to leave the init screen, unless you use a TCP/IP stack other than Miami and need to dial. As password, please use "Inittest".

This new version requires you to take care for the usage of every acre of your country. Acres can be used in one of 4 ways:

1) Cultivating
2) Fishing
3) Wood production
4) Stone production

You have a certain number of workers to employ on each square to improve the production form that acre. Especially important is cultivation as this will determine the maximum harvest.

For big players, this is too much work. So you can set the button "automatic", which will distribute the workers and jobs evenly. Of course, this setting will not be as ideal as one you could achieve by manual settings.

Production from fishing are added to the maximum harvest for the moment, but this will change in future.

Wood and stone will be produced too. These will be required for new buildings in future. Huge buildings like castle etc. will require a tremendous amount of those.

Both will be offered for free (the amount depending on the number of workers) on the market. They can be stored, sold or used.

The map now has an autumn mode.
