Everything works OK if I connect from my office where I installed the ToT and set-up the e-mail connections...
But when I try to send a turn (at the end of my moves) from home I receive a message that the system is unable to send the file. The strange thing is that I'm still able to receive (download) the new turn...the problem is only with the sending (upload)...
Any ideas why? Can I correct this?

Maybe i can help. But only if you can check something for me.
Please start the command line interface and tell me the result of these commands:
ping irc.euirc.net and
ping irc.hes.de.euirc.net
Unfortunatly we maybe made a stupid mistake. For checking if the system is in a local area network and online we query
two servers as you can see above. If both of these servers are not reachable ToT thinks the internet connection is down.
And as it seems these both servers arent very reliable. I got yesterday hints for that problem.
Otherwise i could be a simple smtp problem, as daxb mentioned. Do you use your own email address for sending the
turns ? If yes, you must take care of the smtp authentication problem. Most of the email providers today needs
authentication. In most cases its enough to enter username and password again in the last two boxes of the
second optionscreen (called smtp username & smtp password). Please try it.

Tried to ping and when tried for the first time it timed out....on the second try received a reply in 45ns and 34 ns for each address...

POP3 of my mail is pop3.arnes.si (smtp is mail.arnes.si) while the e-mail has the domain guest.arnes.si

The problem is solved. In the case that the user registrate with an own email address he is already registrated in the forum if he try to reregister. If he dont get or read the confirmation email until then he was not able to process the second registration, because he dont know his forum password. Now the forum allows to reregister until the newbie flag of the player is cleared.
