Bei Neuinstallation bitte beachten

Da sich das offenbar noch nicht überall herumgesprochen hat, machen wir mal ein Sticky...



Falls aus irgendeinem Grund eine Neuinstallation von ToT mit Beibehaltung eines laufenden Spiels erwünscht/nötig ist, bitte folgendes beachten:

Bei der Spielsicherung müssen die Verzeichnisse "data" und "map" gerettet werden. "data" enthält allerdings auch Dateien, die bei einem Update erneuert werden können.

Daher sollte man nach der Installation des Basis-Archives zuerst sein gesichertes Spiel (also map und data) zurückkopieren und danach erst eventuelle Updates installieren.

You of all people should recognise the English users amoungst us! Would you please at least summerise each of your posts in english - how the hell am i supposed to know if i am spending time submitting bugs that have already been submitted in german?

I could be wasting my time just because people (and this isnt just you - its all multi-lingual people in here) don't summerise posts into english!

I dont ask for a full translation, just a one or two sentence main point thing. Cant be all that hard can it?????

Hi,

ich möchte eine Neuinstallation meines Spiels vornehmen.

In diesem Thread seht das ich Map + Data sicher muss. Soweit so gut.

Wie sieht es seit der neuen Funktion das Map + Data ja auch noch vom Spiel gesichert werden aus?

Muss ich den Ordner Game auch sichern und nach der Installation des Basisarchiv wieder einspielen?

Hallo Jungfer_Merlind,
du musst das Verzeichnis Game nicht unbedingt sichern, doch wenn du es zipst und so archivierst, dann wäre das für Fehlersuche gut.

Ansonsten ganz normal die Installation wie gehabt durchführen.
