I actually meant running the java client fullscreen, which sets the desktop resolution at 640x480 as long as it runs.

v0.10 always runs in windowed mode (mainly because I forgot to put a switch in for fullscreen mode).

I'll make sure that 0.11 wil run in fullscreen mode too :)

Hi,

Since there's only limited functionality in that version I doubt there are issues to be discovered that are not known.

Consider it more of a proof of concept which I was eager to release then anything else, once the mail/turn processing code gets finished it'll be another story :p

Sorry for the late reply...

There are two options ... either you run it in windowed mode at a resolution of 640x480 or you run it in fullscreen mode, also at a resolution of 640x480.

There's nothing much I can do do change this since all the art of Tamar is in that resolution.

Well...if it can run the full JRE/JDK 1.4 and has a screen resolution of 640x480 it should work.

If it only runs the mobile java version i'm not sure but i'll take a look at it.
If it's screen resolution is lower you'll probably just see part of the window.

I have no idea how fast it would be ...

To run the client you need JDK/JRE 1.4 or higher

Unzip the archive and go into the Tamar directory.
From that directory run 'java -cp tamar.jar tot.Tamar'

Since a few days all hills on my map stay black. Sometimes they show part of another acre when I move the map.

I'm using version 0.50r7, I noticed that there's a v0.50r15 on the download page but I can't access it (guess it's testers only).

I have 1 town, of my 30000 inhabitants a good 3000 are working on the fields. I also have 2 armies of about 250 people in total.

Maybe I should wait a a quarter? I only reached 30000 today.

Is there another way to see how many people are living in my town?

Can anyone tell me what the requirements are for a townhall and markethall?

I reached 30000 people with technology at level 2, trade registry has been build.

I was under the impression that a townhall would be possible with 25000 people and a technology level of 2?
