I was under the impression that to have a market you had to have a blacksmith.
A market (market place) requires only Technics level 1, and 2500 people in your town. If you have 1 town, it will have half of the population of your country . Therefore, with 1 town you will need a country population ...

Ah. Many thanks, This isn't clear at all. I thought perhaps there might be a difference between 'country' and 'town'macjones hat geschrieben:You need 5000 people in your country then lives 2500 people in your town and you can build a marktplace.
Time to go adjust my taxes to get people flowing back in again.

Running the latest update to the Amiga client on E-UAE. I'm into the game by about 9 turns (I think) and I cannot build a market place.
