I would like to know if the game continue as usual during the Chrismas holidays. Is this any plan to skip a turn for december 25th and january 1rst ?

I think it could be a good idea to give a little recess to all those who are at war.

as long as no problems due to overloaded mail servers occure, there is no
reason to pause the game. For some of us it's the time where they are most
active in the whole year.
If you want to go on hollyday or something, just ask a person you trust,
wether he or she would substitute for you and play your game as long as
you are away. Usually asking allies in the game is a good idea.
If you don't have trusted allies, ask one of the game support to take over.

And be sure that you both have the same computer systems because game data is not compatible between Amiga, PC and Mac.
