Version 0.46

Habe mir den neuesten Clienten geladen (ToT_Mac_V0.46.sit), entpackt, die .dmg geoeffnet, den Installer gedoppelklickt - und dann das:
Meine derzeitige Version auf dem Rechner (und zwar auf dem Volumen OSXG4) ist lt. Finder-Anzeige 0.4.5r5, und sollte eigentlich nicht neuer sein, als die Version 0.46 von heute
Achja, und interessanterweise zeigt er mir, obwohl ich oben das Volumen OSXG4 ausgewaehlt habe, unten als Zielordner OS9G4 an, auf dem gar kein Tamar installiert ist ...

Hallo!
So ganz einig bin ich mir mit der neuen Version auch noch nicht - ich bekomme sie zwar installiert, aber dann startet ToT nicht mehr... Der Bildschirm wird kurz schwarz, wie sonst auch, dann habe ich aber wieder den Desktop vor Augen...
Ich geh das ganze nun nochmal durch - evtl. ist mir auch ein Fehler unterlaufen beim Update...?!?!

Hi,
I must say that this is the first time I have used Mac OS X 10.4 and it's Developer Tools PackageMaker to prepare the .pkg. Once I had noticed the priviledges problem after installation. It disappeared on the second shot. It could (I suppose) happen when you store the TalesofTamar folder somewhere in place not well suited for that - like /Applictions. If so, please move the game folder to the contents of your home folder and try again. Or maybe there is a version conflict between the system you have and the system I've created the package.

I am running Mac OSX 10.3.9
The path to the ToT-Folder is /Users/dagmar/Spiele/Tamar/TalesOfTamar
The Updater told me, that i couldn't install on this partition of my HD because there is a newer Version - but the only version on my Mac ist 0.4.5r5 on partition OSXG4. It seems to allow to install on partition OS9G4 - but there is no ToT-Client to update

Hallo
Erst passierte es bei mir auch, als ich das Update aufspielt, das der Bildschirm schwarz wurde, danach habe ich bei einem Testspiel das Upgrade aufgespielt und es funktionierte dort einwandfrei.
Das Update läuft sehr gut.

Ah, now I see. Please try this: remove the receipt file (one that is made by installer) either from /Library/Receipts or ~/Library/Receitps (I do not remember the proper path for that file but you should easily locate it there). Then run the installer again.

Ich hab jetzt das Update manuell installiert, läuft nun.

Oh, and a big thank for removing the scrolling map, it was a much easier work this turn
