hello,
since 5 or 6 turns, i ordered my troups to attack some orcish troups but, they're looking at each other and do nothing
no fight, no casualties...
should I whip my units to make them obey?

Hello Fabrice,
I have so far no hint or idea what might cause this. Do your armies have
their dedicated names or are they just named infantry and cavallery?
Have you ever ordered successfull attacks?
Kind regards,
Christian

it is the first time i order an attack so i never had a successfull attack before.
and for the name, they were named at the beginning, but now the name doesnt' appear anymore, they are just named 'infantry'.

Hi Fabrice,
that will do it. These Armies are "dead". The figure on the map is no longer
linked to the entry in the data files. Please check wether these armies are
listet in your army camp or wether you need to pay for them. I guess not.
As far as I know this error should not happen any more, but it looks alike.
Solution: move these companies without name on your town, go to this town
and recruit new armies and send the turn. The damaged ones should vanish
by loading the new turn.
Kind regards,
Christian

@thefab
the army problem is also a indicator for the fact that somebody tried to load a turn from one season twice. Maybe you tried that ?

hmm, when i have the bug "ressources vanish", i load my previous turn and receive again the new season to retrieve my lost ressources, could it be that you are refering to?

Hello Fabrice,
it's important to know what date you had before and after loading the turn.
The described situation with the resources should be like it was summer 450
on the Server. But you got back to spring 450 by loading an old backup and
received the turn for summer 450 again. (numbers fictious, just for derscription)
So you had spring 450 before loading the turn and summer afterwards.
Thats correct.
The situation described by Wolfen would mean that you loaded the turn for
summer 450 on the game already in summer state. This would cause some
problems.
Kind regards,
Christian

in fact, i receive the turn in my email client, and when i need to reload it, i export the file to the data directory of Tamar each time i want to reload a turn, is that bad?
i pay attention to reload an old backup before loading the new one, but i will look at it next time it arrive.

Hi,
thats not a problem at all. But if you load (by exident) a turn onto a backup,
where this turn already was included, this could lead to the loss of units.
Take them back to town and then recruit new ones. The old armies will
disappear by next time you load your turn.
Kind regards,
Christian

Hello Fabrice,
this is just the easiest explanation how such problems mostly occure.
It's not necessary that this was the problem in your case. I just told you
to avoid additional problems like this.
Solution is still the same:
Thake the disobeying armeis to town, recruit some new armies there and
the problem should have vanished by the loading the next turn.
Please keep looking for the armies names. When this error possibly
occures another time, please inform us rightaway. Might be an unknown bug.
Thanks in advance.
Kind regards,
Christian

Hello Fabrice,
I nearly can't belive that. You lost your armies after a single turn?
What did you between? Load / Save / Reload something?
In case you did noting like this, send me your data and I'll try myself.
Kind regards,
Christian

Hello Fabrice,
I found your last game turn still on the mail server.
Loading it, I got all your armies right with names.
No error here. Data on the way to you.
One question remains:
How did you load your turn without having it deleted from the server?!?
Kind regards,
Christian
