I recently visited the Trade Registry screen and took a look at my raw materials stock. It seems that I don't have much stock of raw materials and from what I can work out from the table, there are some requirements demanded by my people which I have not yet met.

For about 2 years ToT time I've switched production to raw materials by ticking the raw materials box in the Trade Registry screen, but I haven't noticed any real increase in the raw materials I have available and I'm still not able to produce any of the goods that my people demand.

My question is, how does this raw materials feature work? Is there any way I can improve the amount of raw materials my realm produces and how do I go about producing the various materials that my realm requires?

For the moment I've switched the raw materials option off because it hasn't made a great deal of difference to my stock of raw materials and yet I lose out on weapons production. I'd appreciate any advice.

Hi Gandor,

the amount of availiable raw materials depends on the area of land you are owning
and the number of people living inside your realm.
The more poeple live there, the more raw materials do they need and use up.
All raw materials not used by the people can be stored (with raw materials selected)
or used for production (with raw materials NOT selected).
Using this switch you can decide, how superfluous materials are treated. Nothing else.
If you need more raw materials, there are two ways to go:
Reduce your population or better get more land.
