Honourable Lord Helger,

A messenger has delivered to me a letter written by yourself which, as far as I can tell, introduces your newly founded realm and your people. Unfortunately the people of my realm are not blessed with the skills of language and are only able to communicate in the common tounge. Your letter has been written in the language of trade and, whilst I have made my best attempts to translate it, I would freely admit to not being capable of understanding it all. From what I can make out it is a very pleasent message in which you breifly introduce yourself and express your wishes for peace between our lands. I also understand from the letter that you have origins on distant lands on Tamar - in that we share something in common!

You will notice that your land is currently occupied by a rather threatening army carrying the flag of my realm. I would ask your forgiveness for this intrusion, the army was previously ordered to take control of the land in your area in order to avoid potential problems with the undead. In the meantime your realm was formed in it's place and therefore my army has found itself inadvertently occupying your land. Please do not consider this a threat; the army has now been ordered to leave your land immediately and as I understand is already in the process of doing so.

I notice that your scout has not had the opportunity to explore East Kasperia yet. I feel it would help you immensely if I were to pass on some Geographical information to you so that you may best choose where to send your scout party, but I do not wish to offend our other neighbours by announcing the positions of their lands in such a public place as this, so if you wish to have this information you can contact me in private - just send a carrier pigeon to Gandor@thermalrunaway.co.uk

I can offer you a rather important warning immediately though. Beware of the land to your South. The land to your South is filled with extremely mineral rich high mountains as far as the eye can see. Unfortunately for us, those lands are heavily occupied by dark and mysterious creatures. Evil Orc armies patrol that area in their thousands, and they regularly send war parties to our lands as well. The land is also occupied by the formidable dwarfs, and the great realm of the Elves.

I will order the armies in your area to regularly patrol the borders of your lands and defend against attack from the Orcs. Unfortunately for myself I had no such defense when my realm was as small, and I lost land to these evil creatures when they launched and unprovoked attack on my lands.
I will personally see to it that you don't suffer the same fate.

I hope our realms can prosper together and I'm sure we will establish a good trade route in the future. If I can be of any asistance, please contact me at my Carrier Piegeon address.

Honourable Lord Gandor,

I am sorry for that I spoke to you in my old language. But I noticed that you could understand what I meant. For me it is a sign for that the language of peace can be understood by everyone.

I am very glad, to inherited some morgan of fertile land in the neighbourhood of such an honourable Lord and hope that our peoples live together in harmony and prospering trade.
