Hi,

Can anyone tell me what the requirements are for a townhall and markethall?

I reached 30000 people with technology at level 2, trade registry has been build.

I was under the impression that a townhall would be possible with 25000 people and a technology level of 2?

right, Thats the way it should work.
Required for the market hall are technology level 2 and a market place.
The same way the citizen hall, a smith and tech 2 is required for your townhall.
30.000 people should of course be enough for both of the projects.
But be aware of the fact, that only the number of inhabitants inside the dedicated
town counts for that. Not all inhabitants of your realm.
How many inhabitants do you have there?

Hi,

I have 1 town, of my 30000 inhabitants a good 3000 are working on the fields. I also have 2 armies of about 250 people in total.

Maybe I should wait a a quarter? I only reached 30000 today.

Is there another way to see how many people are living in my town?

have a look inside you freshly built trade registry!
On the left side of the bottom line you will find, what you seek.

you can read the requirements for all buildings in Tamar in the "Library of Babylon". For a town hall, you need 400.000 people.

where do you have the 40.000+ people? In your whole realm or in the town?
This number is required in the town where the townhall should be built.

when you talk about realm, it is the town + the other lands?

you mean that i need 40000 people on the town itself? (not the surrounding land)

Exactly, your realm consists of all your towns and the surrounding land.
And you need the 40.000 people in the town itself. Sure.
