Afaik we conduct a betatest, lot stuff not work in the Macversion yet.
However ingame ppl seems to play for "real", since 1 week my town not generate any wood or other local resources. Not possible to conduct any further test since the researched buildings can't build. Looking on map it seems that units of two other player are blocking parts of my area wich the needet resource. Those player does not respond to mail.

Don't get me wrong, but I not spend ages in a unpayed betatest only to get town runied before I come to check any functions wich need development to be avail. After all this is what we do here, a betatest or no?
I consider this as a serious problem, and like to hear a official word on it.

Hello
Please write as a betatester into the betatesterforum on the bottom of this forum.
If you are not registered for it, write a short mail to service@tamar.net.

The mac-version is yet in an early development step.

Hello Laraine,

there is not much, that doesn't work in Mac version.
The Mac OS client lays only a few little steps behind the windows version and all major features are includet.
Specially any work with resources and building material works.
And ofcourse, we all play for real.
If you need building material (wood and stone), you should say your workers manually (not by automatic settings) where to get the wood and stone and how many of them should work there. These settings are made on the map.
Have a look at the manual http://www.tamar.net/bin/Tales_e.pdf point 3.3, page 13.
Also consider buying building materials on the market or, if you have a trade registry, by contract.
Tales of Tamar is a living world, where the new clients are testet between all the other "normal" players.
So its less unpayed betatest, but more unpayed game play with a bit of testing.

Next time please use the appropriate Forum! ( viewforum.php?f=35 )

Thanks for your help, since we have only few Mac testers.

Kind regards,
Christian aka. Godefroy

Hello Laraine,

sorry for not mentioning this.
The Mac client doesn't yet support a second mouse button.
You need to hold down the comand key and click left (like owning only a one button mouse) to get the right mouse button action.
This is also needed for attacking/annexing, since you need the figure menu for this.
Sorry again, I hope the programmer will add support for second mouse button shortly.

Kind regards,
Christian aka. Godefroy
