Purchasing Turns via Paypal

Tales of Tamar team,

I am interested to purchase some more turns and re-introduce the character of Lord Matador into the game, and the most convenient method of payment for me would be to purchase the turns via paypal.

I have visited the payment area of the website, and I notice that if I select paypal as my payment method, it brings up a list of options - 300 turns, 1000 turns etc. However, I also notice that these turns are labelled up as "shareware version". I actually own the full boxed version of Tales of Tamar, so I'm a little confused as to what this actually means. If I were to purchase these turns, are they proper full turns or are they shareware turns? None of the other payment methods advertise the turns as "shareware", hence my confusion.

I would also like to query how these turns would be allocated to me. Assuming I were to purchase 300 turns via paypal, how are these turns then given to me and how am I able to re-register my character with them? Am I sent an email which includes a registration number or something?

If someone could clear up these points for me, I'd appreciate it.

Best regards,

Lord Matador

Hi Matador,

right now, you can play the shareware version of ToT regardless if you have the original. It´s free for like 3 to 4 weeks. Of course, you don´t have all features as in the box version but you can copy the things missing from your CD.

As for how to apply these turns you bought to an already running game, I honestly don´t know. Wolfen will have to answer that.

Maybe a screen will pop up where you have to input the code you get once the turns run out.

Normally, when you purchase turns, you get a Code number. But since I purchased the 1000 turns package, I only use it when registering a new game and not in the middle of the game, so I don`t know ;)

Bye,
Tim

The game isn't actually already running, I want to start a new one. My question really is can I purchase these turns via paypal and apply them to an install of the full game, and therefore play the game as a fully paid for user? If so, how?

Thanks for the reply Lucksi, Long time no speak!

Hi Matador,

would be great to have you back ;)

(oh, check PMs if you would ;) )

For a new installation, I see no reason why it shouldn´t work. You get a code after buying and in the screen of ToT where you register, there you can switch from creditcard, or whatever it is set to, to gametimecode, or whatever the name is :D

However, I would wait till Monday, for an official answer. After all it has been two years since I purchased mine and it might have changed. New registrations are not worked on until Monday either since Wolfen and most of the team are on a big game convention.

Bye,
Tim
