I had just built a new mill two turns ago as I was getting the message about grain rotting in the fields and whatnot. However, this past harvest I got the same amount of grain as I did before I had the new mill, so the mill hasn't helped my harvest at all. Is this a bug, or am I missing something?

this is not much information. Hard to help you.
But I guess you just don't have enough granaries to store your harvest.
Might this be posible?

Nope, my granaries were hardly filled. According to the Report>Harvest screen (or at least a Babel Fish translation of it) there's plenty more grain I could harvest and store, and according to the 1 mill / 3000 people advice, it was due time for me to have built another one.

What other information could I possibly provide?

I simply need more informations to tell you whats wrong.
As there are:
- total number of mills
- total number of granaries
- total number of harvesting workers
- amount of maximum harvest shown in reports
- number of hexes dedicated to grain production
- amount of max harvest in cultivation screens of each of the above metioned hexes on the map
- cultivation set to automatic or manual
- amount of the seed you used

Tell me all this an we will know whats wrong in no time.

3 mills now, 1 granary, 4400 seed used everytime since I last started, max harvest 168960, 32880 harvested the last two times (and about that much since turn 25 (now 55)).

As for all the hex info, I leave all that automated 'cause whenever I switch it to manual everything gets stuck at zero. For turn 365 winter, there were 13 grain workers on every hex minus the town, with an actual harvest of 10520 and max of 10585 for every hex. I have 15 acres not including the town.

For reasons I can't even begin to fathom, I only harvested a whopping 1524 grain this past turn, significantly less than I had allocated to be harvested (4600), and despite having more people assigned to harvesting than ever before. I don't even have a chance of surviving now and have already set the town to suicide itself.

What can I do at this point to help determine what is going on with my harvest?
