Ch 6 'The Future' won't go away

I'm referring to those bard screens that show up at the beginning of the game, introducing a different facet of the game each turn. I've gotten this one in particular for at least three turns straight now, maybe more as I can't remember exactly, and it's getting really annoying. I remember that three turns ago I had to restore a backup to deal with the dissapearing building bug I was having then, so might that have something to do with this?

Edit: For the developers who should know what turn this chapter is supposed to appear on, this is now my thirteenth turn.

Edit 2: On turn 14, I got the luxury good selection screen instead, so I guess ch. 6 went away. I'll update this again when I see what happens next turn.

Edit 3: It's turn 15, and I'm still getting the luxury goods bard screen.

I'm still having this bug! The bard screen was showing up every turn, and was finally replaced by the sawmill screen which showed up last turn, as well as this turn. The bard won't go away, and is getting really annoying.

Looks like I have this bug too.

In the Amiga-Client!

The bard shows up every time I start the game.

Kind regards,
Christian aka. Godefroy

I'd like to point out that this is *still happening*! And more than 40 turns after it started, too.

Hi guys

Are you clicking the X button to leave the screen??

If so, Dont! Click one of the curved arrow buttons to go forward in the text, and do this until the bardstale finishes. Next turn you shouldnt get the tale any more.

What Bifford suggested worked. Maybe the X button should be given the same functionality after so many turns. I had gotten so used to clicking on it that I forgot the arrow buttons were even there and eventually thought it to be a bug. It's not like those arrow buttons are encountered much elsewhere in the interface, after all.

Great! I'm glad that worked. Unfortunatly this is one of those little irritating things that myself and Wolfen have differing opinions on. I must have argued with him about those arrows and crosses any number of times! :-)

Anyway, glad it helped. In future always take a Bardstale through its entire story and it will self-exit and not return.
