Do you know why I don´t belive that one bit?
a) They use you (Medusa) and Gunthrer to do their dirty work since you are in the middle of my land. You would be the first casualty but I still don´t want to kill you. You two might have noticed that I always send the same amount of armies you did. But they raised up the ante in supplying you with good weapons, so you are no longer an irritation, you are a thread now.
So, if I would have the same honour they have, you would be dead already. And if you and Gunthrer don´t stop your actions, then I´m forced to do so.
I tried making a truce with Gunthrer and he told me to surrender (in your dreams)
b) If they want to give land to new lords, then why is Ansgar annexing land? More specific, why is he annexing land that Gunthrer annexed from me?
I tell you, because he is one of the deserving lords. Don´t mind that he is 200 years on Tamar - he will get land.
And when I am gone, then they will move on to Salmuth because he has even more land than me and also surrounded lords. But he has done so quietly and possibly made arrangements with the ones he surrounded (don´t know that).
But the order will just find another reason to start attacking him, of that I am sure.
Look at the reasons they started war with me:
Guother because I have/had an disaggreement with Hobbit, whom he took as a vassal. Never mind that it started long before the darkness was lifted. He took him as a vassal later and said "You are attacking my vassal, now you will die" or words to that effect.
Laurentius attacked me because he can and I didn´t accept his ridiculous demands.
Ansgar because he is protected by Laurentius
Godefroy, who was negotiating for my side, or so he claimed, because I insulted Laurentius after they invaded my realm.
So, what did he expect I would do after the invasion? Cut Laurentiuses roses or mow his lawn?
@Gunthrer: Last chance for a truce now, take it or not, it´s your choice. Oh, and do ask Ansgar why he is annexing in your land...

@Salmuth: Get yourselv some good allies. You will be next after I am gone. They will just think up another moronic reason to attack you.
@Godefroy: Cute try so far. Hope it was expensive. How about calling off the attack and save your valuable armour for a real war?
@Laurenius: Did you ever think about why two of the towns had no inhabitants whatsoever?
Because after the atrocities you commited while taking over the first town, all inhabitants fled from the next two towns. Or maybe bacause I didn´t have any gold to build up even those old towns which were just empty shells. But of course you didn´t wonder.
@Skar: Tell them I said "No" and we will leave it at that, because if I say what is on my mind, then another one will declare war because of further insults.
@Ansgar: Wimp! You would long be dead if Gunthrer wasn´t in the way and Laurentius wouldn´t protect you. Because you saw that one good army of me coming, you ran to Laurentius and begged him to kill it before it reached your town.
And yes, I said Gunthrers number came up, but I sent my only good unit to Ansgar. Too bad Gunthrer took that as a sign of weakness...
