Lost movement points
I had set an army to guard, but then decided to cancel this by telling the army to do nothing so I could then do something else with the army, only it didn't get back any of its movement points, and I didn't even have the option to set it back to guard. This seems like a loophole. Shouldn't the army at least remain in guard mode?
I'll concede that it's fair enough that if I order an army to guard something I shouldn't be able to tell it to do anything else for that turn. However, I was able to tell this army to do nothing instead of guard with nary a difficulty, so wouldn't that in itself be a break from that logic?
It also doesn't make any sense realistically. Imagine a real army being ordered to guard something only to soon after be ordered to do nothing. Seeing how this army already took the action of preparing to guard the place, I hardly doubt they'd sit around on their duffs doing nothing after they had gotten all ready to guard. Which brings me back to my previous question, shouldn't the army at least remain in guard mode? It's not like they'd be doing anything else.
