All hail noble ladies and gentlemen!

The seasons past fast and again a lot happened. After long discussion it was decided that our folk will stay on Eternia and that we fight against our enemies again. This decision was also made because of the efforts of Lord Fox to get big parts of the southeast of Eternia under his control. He permitted to occupy our old estates again and so we will stay here. I'm very happy about this development. I had been looking forward to visit my old favourite places at the “Kupferzinnen“ for so long and finally the time had come. Our scouts hadn't seen any enemy troops in the souths for a long time and so I dared a trip with Kilian. We went up a small hidden path and reached the edge of a precipitous crag. From this place you have a incredible view at the estates in the west and north. Especially when the last rays of the sunset dunk the mountains in a glowing light is is very beautiful.
We were just on our way home when I saw a trail of smoke between the trees in the east. Shortly after it I detected another one and then more and more. It didn't look like forest fire for me but rather like campfire. But who would stay in this mountain? As far as I knew this either couldn't be our troops or enemies at this time. Very fast I took the way home with Kilian, unaware that I saw the signs of a new, dark threat.
After I told Alberich about this event at the same evening he sent some scouts the next day. But they never returned! Then he sent a well equipped troop and they met our new enemy: the orcs!
We already heard about horrible looking nonhuman beings who stayed in the unapproachable mountains, but now the threat became within our's reach. According to the information of our men these orcs are barbarous warriors with green skin and ugly grimaces. Their only aim is to destroy and fight.
Everywhere a resistance movement against this plague was formed and also our men went to war against these orcs again. Everywhere orcs appeared and also Fox reported about first fights with them and shortly after that we got also news from other lords of Eternia, even from other islands, where this barbarians resided terribly.
In the meanwhile we were very successful by forcing them back with the support of Fox, but on other parts on Eternia there are still dozens of hordes on the move and there appear new orcs again and again. How was it possible that they stayed undiscovered for so long and now they suddenly attack us? Could a dark power have a finger in the pie?
