All hail noble ladies and gentlemen!

Maybe my hope of peace will become true. But let me start at the beginning of the events which occured in the past. It started when a new warlord appeared during the phase of conquests between Siegfried's and our troops. This man with the name Stoker explained that he would lead Siegfried's realm during his absence. At the same time he threaten us that his war would be more cruel than Siegfried's. Real soon the troops of our enemies went to the “Kupferzinnen“ again which form the western side of the big south moutain in our realm. There are many ore mines which have supplied us with the needed rawmaterials for our weaponries for a long time. But also our enemies know about these rawmaterials and they also need them a lot, so the “Kupferzinnen“ have been a preferred target at any time of this war. But then something unexpected happened. The troops of Siegfried just stood still and didn't show any activity anymore. They didn't attack anymore and they also didn't occupied further areas anymore. It seemed like that they didn't want to follow Stoker's commands. Also for them the totally overstated cruelty of this despots seemed to be too much for them. Alberich saw his chance and sent his troops. We were able to retake all our estates. But Alberich was to angry about the scruple actions of the deputy of Siegfried, so he just couldn't stop then. He gave the order to move to Siegfried's area and to overtake his estates. Soon afterwards Wolfen interfered in this happenings. With the attempt to help his absent ally Siegfried, he moved forward with several big armies and evicted our men from the west of Siegfried's realm. Then Siegfried returned from his international businesses and took the fate of his country in his own hands again. With the last attempt to prevent a new rekindle of the war Alberich sent a messenger with secret letters to Wolfen and Siegfried. These included the offer for a ceasefire with the recreation of the old borders between our realms. At the moment the negotiation about this ceasefire is still going on, but after many years the peace seems to be within reach for the first time.
Sometimes we receive news from other civilized islands in our close proximity. While we were negotiating about peace very seriously it seemed like that there would loom ahead some disputes. Indeed there must have been several fights and smaller wars. I just can warn all new lords of Tamar. A war is something very terrible and in my opinion no disputes justifies the dead of hundreds or even thousands of men, women and children. Whenever there is still hope to come to an agreement, you should take this chance. We had to learn how mellowing the years of war can be.
But there happened something different very unexpected as well:
Last winter we had a real winter on our island “Eternia“ (thats how we call it) for the first time! Well, of course there had always been winter, but the temperature was just a bit colder and sometimes we had snowstorms. But the snow didn't last very long and it snowed only on some parts of the island. But in this winter everything was completely different. The temperatures had been dropping sharply for a long time, most of the waters had been frozen over and then it started to snow and in a heartbeat the whole countryside was covered by a icy blanket. But this time the snow stayed and it was becoming more and more. What a beautiful sight for sore eyes. I hit the trail to the “Kupferzinnen“ and climbed one of the smaller mountains. From this point I had stunning view. As far as the eye can see everything was covered by a white brightness. Only with the late spring a thaw had set in and the snow disappeared exept for some pieces on the highest mountain of Eternisa.
