The chronicles of TAMAR

Year 80

All hail noble ladies and gentlemen!

In the last few years the signs for first fights on your island becoming more and more clear. The trade with weapons and suits of armor has risen and especially for very good weapons and excellent suits of armor you have to pay a very high price. Furthermore in each colony the inhabitants are recruited as soldiers and also troops are formed and equiped for practice. Its just a question of time until the first ruler starts to annex the surrounding land for his colony. All rulers have made territorial markings around their colonies in the meanwhile. These marks are a long row of colored boundary posts which show the other rulers already from far that there starts the territory of the other one. I just can hope that there won't develop wars which would destroy so much of what we build up under a lot of troubles in many years. But these considerations are not the only news, there are also some good ones. The first settlers who came to this world were inhabitants of one world who wanted to start a new life because of different reasons. In the meanwhile also inhabitants of other worlds would like to come to Tamar to establish a new realm and thats why Lord Wolfen is forced to translate all the laws which are prevailing for us also for the new settlers. But of course he can't do all this work by himself, so he hired some very intelligent people who are able to translate the legislative texts into the required languages and to adapt them to the characteristics of each folk. This work makes different progresses for the different worlds, but we are sure that there will be many new colonies in Tamar soon. As the island, where also our realm is, already is occupied, more and more islands are developed and made available for new settlers. It seems like that the world of Tamar is much bigger than everybody thought and thats why there is still enough place for new settlers. Unfortunatly we do not have plans for constructing ships yet, so that we cannot convince ourself about the progress on other islands. But sometimes we reveice news from other islands and also during the meetings of the rulers in the taverna such new are exchanged and discussed. It seems like that some lords have the same problems which we had several years ago. Just recently I received a report about a scout who had been missing for years and now he came back but without any explanation where he had been in the meantime.
